It feels as though spring is in the air. And I am happy to say we will be welcoming the season from within our happy place, home. This year is a little bittersweet... While we are happy to here enjoying the weather, the views, the fresh mountain air we miss Tad like crazy! The weeks he will be home will be time cherished for sure! And we will make the most out of those days for sure! But hopefully the rest of our days will pass with peace and ease like today.
We spent time outside playing with the dogs and just plain relaxing. I finally got to pull out the dead bushes and flowers that have built up over the 18 months since we have been gone. The cats even enjoyed the screen door being opened for the first time.
Dinner tonight was A bacon chicken salad. Simple and delish. It was light and felt like the perfect meal to fit the day.
I haven't blogged much on this site. Although this remains my favorite blog, I have been spending a lot of time blogging for The Polar Cupcake. Trying to clear my mind and put my soul at ease. However, blogging about insignificant little moments and days like today are what make me happy. When your family consists of 4 kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats, blending, autism, Daddy working in another state.... Life gets hectic and crazy. Trust me, these little moments truly are the best and blog worthy... No matter how boring.
Aside from Logan graduating high school As of right now there are no big plans for the summer.... We will be hanging out a lot waiting for Tad to come back from Texas.
